One of the very important for most farming businesses is to know when stock can be moved into a new paddock. This is especially important if you run sheep or goats since paddocks must be rested for a certain period of time to ensure that Barber Pole and or other worm infestations will no longer be present.
Our system allows you to set two core numbers:
- Minimum Paddock Rest Days, default 60 days and
- Ideal Paddock Rest Days, default 90 days
Then when you view the table of your paddocks, you will see something like this:
With a glance you can now see the status of each paddock and the colours correspond with the days you set for each paddock. This is very useful when you have a worm infection and need to drench all animals and move them to a safe paddock right now.
